Two pieces of an Amethyst Geode are highlighted in this incredibly attractive pendant. The Amethyst crystals are atop layers of clear, dark/blue Chalcedony, which are themselves on layers of clear, dark/blue Chalcedony. The tone, sheen, and distinctiveness are fantastic. It's also eye-catching to see two coordinated sections on display. When the two sections are put together, it's impossible to see any value in the piece - it just seems like a dirty, ordinary stone – but when it's opened, it's a great piece, and the two parts are in fantastic shape.
