Natrolite

Natrolite is a rare zeolite mineral from Maharashtra, India, particularly coming from Mumbai. Its rarity Personified after the closure of Malad quarry in mumbai, due to urbanization. 
Very few notable examples of Natrolite from Malad quarry, have a rare green color, dating back to the 1980s. These specimens feature prismatic crystals with green terminations, possibly due to vanadium content, and is considered exceptional due to its color and rarity. 
Most Natrolite from the Malad Quarry & other parts of Maharashtra, exhibit clear spikes.
